Here you will pass an interesting underpass where the trail dips briefly beneath the road. The change of perspective adds a playful pause to your walk before the forest opens again.

Step onto the wooden boardwalk and let the forest guide you. Pines and birches line your way as the planks carry you safely across soft ground and mossy wetlands. Every few meters the trees open to reveal shimmering views of Lake Vuorilampi – perfect for a pause.

Fishing boats and private sailing boats are moored in Jyväskylä Marina. You can watch the hustle and bustle in the harbor from the shore path.
