You can walk on duckboards across the marsh to reach a lean-to shelter, ideal for a peaceful picnic break—just remember to bring your own food and water. Cycling on the duckboards is not allowed or safe, so it’s best to leave your bike locked securely at the road. The area is part of Finland’s national bog protection programme and is open for berry and mushroom picking. Stick to the marked duckboards to protect the fragile environment and ensure a safe visit.
