Savitaipale is a municipality with just over 3,200 inhabitants, centered around the village of the same name. In addition to a few small shops and cafés, you can visit the Hakamäki Open-Air Museum. not too much traffic (but not quiet either), gently rolling hills in the woods, good asphalt, makes for a nice loop from Lappeenranta if you return via Lemi village (either rt 377–3802–380 or even 13–380)

Pistokiekka forms a shore formation site, which, in addition to the current erosion collision, which is about 700 m long and 3-4 m high, has ancient beaches and rock outcrops in the area.
