Here in front of the Löcknitz-Penkun office there is a bronze statue of the former night watchman Bartel, who was on duty here with his cat over 100 years ago. In my opinion, the area around the statues could have been designed a little more beautifully. As it is, they are standing more or less directly at the crossroads!

A place with a shelter and benches.

The figure of a night watchman and his cat stands in front of the Löcknitz-Penkun Local Administration Office in Löcknitz. The bronze monument is directly related to the history of the city. It presents, on a 1:1 scale, a night watchman named Bartel and his cat, who lived in Löcknitz about 120 years ago. The sculpture project was created in 2001 in connection with the reconstruction of Ernst Thälmann Street and the need to enrich the space in front of the Office with an element of art. Five artists were invited to the competition. The work chosen was Thomas Jastram, who demonstrated an excellent understanding of the city's history and a sense of humor.

A large shelter right at the intersection of bicycle paths next to Pogranicznik Square

A place of tribute to border guards who protect state borders. You can learn about the history of the border guard on the Polish-German border. Numerous historic border boards, a commemorative plaque on a boulder. Bicycle paths to Buk, Stolec and Łęgi intersect at the square. Right next to it there is a shelter with a table and benches for a rest area.

A special resting place for cyclists. Benches, table, fireplace, bike rack. No shelter. Right next to it is a sports field.

That's what I call an outfit! Covered seating with a table, a bench outside, bike racks and a repair station that really has just about everything! Exemplary!

Parish of Our Lady Queen of the World in Dobra Szczecińska A stone and brick temple with a simple architecture (without a tower and a separate presbytery), the only relic of medieval buildings in the village of Dobra. The church was built around 1270 from granite cubes. At the north-eastern corner, it had a sacristy that no longer exists (a rare corner buttress is a trace of it). In 1770, a porch was added to the southern wall and the windows in the presbytery (on the eastern wall) were rebuilt, and the interior of the temple was covered with a wooden beam ceiling. In 1875, brick, stepped finials of the gable walls were built, the windows on the side walls of the nave were rebuilt and enlarged, and a porch similar to the one at the southern wall was added to the northern wall. The church was renovated in the second half of the 20th century.
