A town full of architectural beauty in a privileged environment that is worth knowing.

The symbol of the town is the only standing tower of the old Zahínos fortress that dates back to the 15th century and is located at the highest point of the town.

This small town of almost 2,000 inhabitants has a long history and has numerous places of interest such as El Castillo del Coso, La Ermita Santuario de Nuestra Señora de Loreto and La casa de la Calle del Espíritu Santo.

The border of Spain and Portugal passes through the center of this beautiful reservoir. The picturesque landscape that surrounds it makes the area truly worth visiting. It is a popular place for fishing and hunting, but also for bird watching, hiking and mountain biking.

This small town near the border with Portugal is known for its connection with nature. Hunting, fishing, hiking, mountain biking and other outdoor sports are popular here. It is also close to Albufeira de Alqueva, which is also popular for swimming and water activities.

In a spectacular setting, we come across this Franciscan convent, almost 400 years old (15th century). It is in a state of ruin. Next to it, we can see the aqueduct (18th century), which served to supply water to the building. A place to visit, preferably in spring or autumn.

Hidden between roads and extensive Extremaduran meadows, we find the beautiful Bogaña bridge that allows us to cross the Alcarrache river.
