Bredevoort is a town in the Dutch municipality of Aalten. The city has a medieval character. On August 27, 1993, the Book City of Bredevoort was officially opened. Since that day, Bredevoort has been home to a large number of second-hand bookshops (over 30 shops). Various sights, such as the moat, the historic town center with medieval streets, the "Prins van Oranje" windmill, the Sint-Joris Church and the former synagogue offer beautiful photo opportunities.

Beautiful cycle path, all the way along the Aa you can cycle into Bocholt. Quiet, sometimes looking for which side further along the Aa, thoroughly enjoyed it.

A successful bridge that makes it possible to change the Aa side and to get to the center without having to cross the street, which was very uncomfortable up to now. The old bike path no longer exists.

It's hard to imagine a better way to experience nature – the path follows the Aa river the whole way. After a prolonged dry spell, the red gravel is likely to be quite dusty.
