Here, mustard is still produced using traditional methods according to a centuries-old recipe. But the city has even more interesting sights to offer. Discover them for yourself on your trip to the Hanseatic city of Doesburg! But the city has even more to offer: In the heart of the historic old town stands Stadsbierhuys De Waag, the oldest restaurant in the Netherlands. Guests have been welcomed here since 1478 – in a beautiful Gothic building that once served as a weigh house. Today, you can experience the history of the Hanseatic city in a very special way while enjoying a beer and the famous Doesburg mustard soup.
