This Vincentius building was built in 1885 by order of the Vincentius Society. The society provided food for the underprivileged, and sheltered children during the First World War. The building was also used for knitting and sewing lessons for girls, religious education, and meetings. Today, it is privately occupied.

The former convent of the sisters Jesus, Mary and Joseph was designed in 1898 by the Tilburg architect Henri van den Abeelen. The church council of the H.H. Ewaldenkerk gave the order for this. The education of Catholic girls was the main priority.
