Diepenbrock Castle, also known as Diepenbrock House, is a small, charming moated castle near Barlo, a district of Bocholt. The property got its name from the Westphalian expression for the impassable marshland that once surrounded it. Because "diepen brock" means something like "deep fracture". This no longer does justice to the beautiful house today: a picturesque park with old trees worth seeing invites you to take relaxing walks through the beautiful nature.
