A nice route to get to the nicest second-hand store in the Hogeland

The Sebastiaankerk in Warffum, Groningen, dates from the eleventh or twelfth century, but has been greatly altered by later renovations. The original Romanesque character is hardly visible anymore. The church was enlarged in the 16th century and underwent further modifications in the 19th century, giving it a neo-gothic appearance. The tower was added in 1638.

The Jacobikerk in Uithuizen on the Groninger Hogeland was built in the first half of the 13th century. The tower, at least the lower part, is older than the church building and dates back to the 12th century. The choir was built in the mid-15th century. The Jacobikerk organ in Uithuizen in the Dutch province of Groningen was built in 1701 by Arp Schnitger. They have 28 registers spread over two manuals and pedals. The instrument is a best found in Schnitger organs. The organ was used as a template for organ new buildings in the 20th century and for the reconstruction of lost registers of other Schnitger organs.

The Sebastian church in the town of Warffum in Groningen dates back to the 11th or 12th century, although hardly anything remains to be seen due to later alterations.
