7월 8, 2025, Göhltunnel (Göhl Tunnel)
In the mid-19th century, flooding from the Göhl River posed a major threat to the mine in Bleyberg/Plombières: Water repeatedly penetrated the tunnels and claimed lives. To prevent this, a diversion of part of the river was requested and approved in 1861. By 1862, a tunnel several hundred meters long was built beneath the rock, keeping the Göhl away from the mine. The construction cost approximately 200,000 francs. The tunnel is a technical monument to mining engineering from an era when hazards were deliberately controlled while simultaneously harnessing hydropower. It demonstrates how work-related accidents were prevented while simultaneously harnessing resources.

The site of the former Plombières mine is home to species-rich calcareous grassland meadows, now protected as a nature reserve. The exceptional flora and fauna of this area are due to the heavy metal-rich soils, particularly the presence of zinc in the subsurface. Among the natural meadow relics, visible traces of the former metal industry can still be found: – Walls from former foundry floors – Remains of old smelting furnaces – Stones from former industrial buildings A small stream meandering through the area further enriches the ecological diversity of this special place. The "Gueule" viewpoint, which offers a glimpse into a cave opening, is particularly impressive and worth a visit.

10월 11, 2024, Calvary of Moresnet-Chapelle
Immediately after their return to Moresnet in 1895, the Franciscans decided to build a Stations of the Cross with 14 Stations of the Cross. Through elaborate landscaping, a flat meadow north of the chapel was transformed into a hilly landscape covering almost 14 acres. The Stations of the Cross, designed like a park, are now one of the most important and impressive sites of their kind in Europe. Year after year, numerous pilgrims come here to relive the Passion of Jesus Christ in silent devotion.

8월 3, 2024, Château de Streversdorp
Streversdorp, also known as the 'Graaf' castle (indeed after the word 'graaf'), is a medieval castle from the 13th century (according to legend it dates from 915) located in the hollow of a valley, through which a stream flows with the name Streverstroperbach which feeds the Geul river. The name of the stream and castle come from the first known owner, Egidius de Triversdorp in 1275. The mansion is accessed through a yard bordered by two wings, one built of brick (18th century), the other of limestone rubble (1687). On the far right is a chapel, probably dating from the 15th century, but rebuilt in 1734 by Vincent de Belderbusch and his wife Marie-Claire de Westrem, whose coat of arms the castle bears. The Horrick family (1431-1530), the Belderbusch family (1530 -1810), the Thiriart family (1810-1908) and the Charles Janne Dothée family (1908-1986) are other families that owned the castle. The walls are 1.5 meters thick and the fortress is protected by a wide moat fed by two ponds. It is accessed from the south via a three-arched stone bridge leading (formerly the drawbridge) to the entrance gate, which is topped by an oval bull's eye dating from the 17th century. In the centre, the former 13th-century keep contains a beautiful vaulted room with a beautiful fresco that has now disappeared. In the 16th century two towers were added to the south-west and north-west corners. The north side is lit only by gun ports and the rest by three latrines.
