In the past, this estate on the northern edge of Tilburg consisted of heathlands, popularly called 'wasteland'. Huis ter Heide estate is located between the villages of De Moer and Loon op Zand, northwest of Tilburg. The Huis ter Heide Estate is a nature reserve of the Association of Natural Monuments.
