The national park is a true paradise for anyone who enjoys being active outdoors due to its extensive network of hiking trails and very beautiful routes for cyclists. I give it the absolute best rating🏅

Due to the extremely high water level in the dunes, a number of cycle paths are currently flooded. For example, you cannot get to Vogelmeer (and then to Parnassia) from entrances on the east side of the dunes.

Very beautiful large lake in the middle of the dunes. Very good for relaxing and bird watching.

The national park is definitely worth a visit! Forests, dunes, heathlands and lots of animals to watch! If you are lucky, you can watch buffalo and even bison in addition to the many different birds.
