The butterfly experience trail is one kilometre long: from late spring to autumn you can wander among flowers where, when the weather is nice, butterflies, bees and bumblebees are teeming.

The Zwaakse Weel is located near Goes. During the walking route through this nature reserve you will discover Zeeland nature with the old creek remnant the Zwake, fields that are worked in the old-fashioned way with Zeeland draft horses and a high-stemmed orchard where you can pick fruit in the autumn. The Zwaakse Weel is one of the largest nature reserves in the 'Zak van Zuid-Beveland'. During this walking route you will discover Zeeland nature with old-fashioned fields, orchards, the butterflies on the Butterfly Experience Path, test your skills and senses on the OERRR Experience Path or take a seat at our picnic spot with the special herb garden next to it. The information point has 2 toilets, 1 of which is also accessible for the disabled. In addition to informative brochures, a large overview map of the area and a puzzle map about the history of the Zwaakse Weel, there is also a vending machine with refreshments.

Prime location on the waterfront. Just enjoy what's happening on and around the water. Every season has its own protagonists and you need to recognize them.
