For tulip lovers and fans of beautiful, flowery parks, a visit to Keukenhof in the Netherlands is a MUST. Between mid-March and the end of May, tulips of various varieties bloom there.

For breathtaking views of the floral splendor, a stop at the Tespelduyn Viewpoint in the heart of Hollandse Duinen National Park is a must. In good weather, from a height of 14 meters, you can see as far as The Hague and Amsterdam. It's an area steeped in history, with a landscape of sand pits and bulb fields.

A place where you can actually step into the fields for your best photo: Tulip Experience Amsterdam. Visit the show garden with around 1 million tulips and 700 varieties, the museum of the bulb and the tulip, and create your own bouquet. A unique experience.

Hikers and cyclists enjoy panoramic views of the blooming bulb landscape from the public Tespelduyn Viewpoint. From the Viewpoint, you can see as far as Amsterdam and The Hague at a height of 14 meters! The Viewpoint is located in Hollandse Duinen National Park, and the regional hiking and cycling network will take you there. The municipality submitted its request for a viewpoint to Tespelduyn back in 2005, and we are delighted that we have found a common ground in the B(l)oeiende Bollenstreek Area Programme, with the objective of "providing more opportunities for experiences along the route networks for various user groups." The Tespelduyn Viewpoint is funded by the municipality of Noordwijk, the province of South Holland, the Holland Rijnland partnership, and Tespelduyn.

The bulb fields in the Netherlands have been the calling card of the bulb region for over 400 years. The excavated dunes and the healthy sea air have just the right ingredients to allow bulbs to grow optimally and create the most colorful landscape in the world every spring. The flower season starts in 2024 on Saturday March 21 and lasts until Sunday May 12. Every spring, many visitors come from all over the world to enjoy the color palette of the blooming tulip fields. The world-famous Keukenhof flower park and the annual Bollenstreek flower parade are popular, but there are also many beautiful small flower attractions and events to visit.
