It's beautiful here. You can cycle leisurely through the dunes, sometimes up and down, and the cycle path is nice and wide, so you don't get in each other's way. If you want to get to the sea or further into the dune landscape, there are plenty of rest areas where you can leave your bike and lock it up, allowing you to continue on footpaths. There's a good reason why you're not allowed to leave the paths. Both the landscape and the wild animals and farm animals (especially sheep) that live here should be left alone.

The route to the Cormorant Colony is closed Two hiking trails in the Zuidduinen are closed until the first quarter of 2025. Please note that the roads along the Hanengekraai and the Ouwe and Nieuwe Plas are closed.

Beautiful running route through the dune landscape

This is one of the better viewpoints in the dunes, and the most beautiful in Ganzenhoek. The path leads smoothly to it (no stairs) and you have a wide view all around.
