The bronze sculpture "Windsbraut" (Bride of the Wind) was created in 1994 by the sculptor Hartmut Wiesner. The work stands at Nassauhafen in Wilhelmshaven and is a gift to all the residents of Wilhelmshaven for the city's 125th anniversary. The name "Windsbraut" refers to a whirlwind.
