You can only cross the bridge on foot, otherwise you have to push the bike. Alternatively, you have to do another lap through the village. Since I preferred to cycle in the field, along the lake, I crossed the bridge and continued along the lake.

The cycle path leads around the Wangermeer. There are many benches where you can relax. It is a beautiful, large and quiet lake. There is also a beach for swimming.

Large lake that is easy to cycle around. Lots of benches invite you to linger. There is a beach, and not far away there is a car park and a camper van parking area. Unfortunately, some of the information boards and a lookout house are not up to date and are a bit neglected.
