Restaurant Bergwerk, Gonzen / Sargans The Bergwerk Restaurant boasts a unique design and is very attractive for both individual guests and banquets, family celebrations, or business events. It is also well worth a visit after a tour or guided tour of the visitor mine. The stage, which can be moved on rails, allows the venue to be adapted to the size of your event. Performances such as concerts or lectures can be hosted on the stage. The museum at the rear of the restaurant cavern also gives you and your guests an insight into ore mining in the Gonzen mine. A church presumably stood on the site as early as the 6th century. The tower dates from the Romanesque or Gothic period. The Baroque building was erected between 1706 and 1711. It was spared in the town fire of 1811.
