The church is particularly striking for its octagonal onion dome, which appears large and massive compared to the rather slender church building. With walls up to 1.53 m thick, a foundation was built here that was never necessary for structural reasons. This fact has long aroused the interest of historians. In-depth investigations have not yielded any conclusive findings. It is conceivable that the square, up to 5.30 m high, fieldstone tower was originally used as an escape or defense tower. If the Stracciatella ice cream parlor in Zorneding didn't already exist, someone would have to invent it!!! Ideally located in the center of town, it offers a great selection of delicious Italian ice cream. It's now so popular that you have to queue and can hardly find a place to enjoy your ice cream. Equally popular with all age groups. Highly recommended :-)

The Steinsee is always very beautiful whether on foot or by bike.

Small lake with a small beer garden. The water is always cold. Lots of young people regardless of others loud music.

Great beer garden with a nice ambience and the restaurant very inviting. If you really want a place on the weekend, it's better to reserve.
