Colmberg Castle sits enthroned on a 511-meter-high mountain spur above the Franconian town of Colmberg in Bavaria. The Franconian Heights Nature Park surrounding the castle encompasses over 110,000 hectares of a diverse landscape of mixed forests, orchards, and river valleys, characterized by sunny climates and rare plants such as orchids and pasque flowers.
