Beautiful old town for walking

The church was probably built around 1200 as part of a church defense system in the Romanesque style. The Gothic chancel dates from 1323. In 1461, the tower was rebuilt in its present form, after being destroyed in 1449. Originally 3 bronze bells were part of the bell ringing, but one had to be handed in during World War I, which could no longer be replaced, which is why the two remaining ones were sold and replaced by 4 steel bells. Only in 1993 were these replaced by bronze bells. The old steel bells can be viewed outside.

The S4, which runs between Dombühl, Ansbach and Nuremberg, stops at this station.

Ideal for resting! The place offers a possibility to rest right next to the fountain. If you feel like eating Italian cuisine, you can go to the Hotel Ristorante just 10m away. If you just want a beer or cocktails or a cozy coffee and cake, you can do so at the cafe bar, which is also 10 meters away. You can also order food at the pizzeria and consume it in the cafe-bar. The train station is a 10-minute walk away The church is very beautiful!
