Information boards about the Altneckar nature reserve, as well as views through the vegetation on the riverbank of the river, which flows quite slowly at this point.

Old trees, almost sculptural in character, are also found nearby. There's also a small, beautifully situated pond.

The Planet Trail promises a truly astronomical stroll: Approximately 7 km long, it begins at the sun's location north of Favorite Park on Seeschlossallee, not far from the Favorite Park S-Bahn station. The trail continues north past Monrepos Palace to Wilhelmshof, through Brandholz to the southern edge of the Bietigheim Forest. From this location, the S-Bahn station in Bietigheim-Bissingen is about 2 km away. At the start and end of the trail, as well as at the roundabout in front of Monrepos Palace, there are additional general information panels about the Planet Trail itself and its route.

Two palaces weren't enough for Ludwigsburg: "Monrepos," French for "My Peace," was the fitting name for this small but exquisite lakeside palace. It is a true Rococo masterpiece, built under Duke Carl Eugen between 1758 and 1764.

A fantastic mini golf course with 18 different holes. A great, modern atmosphere. Reopened in May 2024 after renovations. We also liked the music playing discreetly in the background. There are also various seating areas for enjoying drinks and ice cream. Absolutely 👍🏼.
