Here you have a fantastic view over the Neckar

The Württemberg Wine Cycle Route runs through the beautiful Lauffen am Neckar, which is also one of the excellent southern wine towns.

The castle towers majestically above the surrounding vineyards and breathtaking landscape. The manicured greens of the golf course offer a wonderful contrast to the historic walls and the natural colors of the surroundings. Teeing off on the golf course, you might almost feel like you're in a picture book—with the castle as an imposing backdrop. The rolling hills and lush greenery create a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere, while the castle glows in the sunlight.

The tower is an impressive historical building that is part of the medieval hilltop castle of the Lords of Liebenstein. The keep, which was built between 1230 and 1240, is the oldest part of the castle and originally served as a defensive structure. The tower offers a fantastic view over the Neckar valley and the surrounding vineyards.

A somewhat peculiar, trapezoidal house - it is not known exactly what it was used for and when it was built.

It was built in the late Middle Ages and a vaulted cellar was added around 1600. The building probably served as a hay barn, a small building for storing hay, until the beginning of the 20th century. Restoration work on the Gothic stone house is in full swing.

The foundations of the villa have been partially restored so that visitors can gain an insight into Roman life in this area. The Römerhof is in a beautiful location overlooking the Neckar and offers a quiet and idyllic setting for walks and hikes.

From the Krappenfelsen you can look far out over the Neckar Valley and enjoy the picturesque landscape of the Zabergäu and the Stromberg-Heuchelberg Nature Park. The viewpoint is accessible via a small, unpaved path with a few steps and offers a perfect bench for a picnic or a moment of relaxation.
