The Hölderlin House is a literary museum and is open year-round. Opening hours are: Friday 3 pm to 6 pm and Saturday/Sunday 1 pm to 6 pm. Admission for adults is €4. Students and pupils are admitted free of charge. The adjoining courtyard café is open during the same hours.

The Hölderlin family home was owned by Friedrich Hölderlin's grandfather and then his father from 1743. It was acquired from private ownership in 2015. The house was carefully renovated and extended.
