Station 1 of the Geopark Trail "Claus Kröncke Weg"

The Kröncke monument is a monument in honor of the chief building director Claus Kröncke in Groß-Rohrheim (Hesse). It was created by the Darmstadt court sculptor Philipp Johann Joseph Scholl and erected in 1836, during Kröncke's lifetime, north of the town on the road to Klein-Rohrheim.
