Camp Hverringe is a genuine beach campsite. If you have your own boat, you can also moor it at the campsite. During the summer months, you can rent SUP boards and kayaks.

Munkebo Hill A Viking Age power center with perhaps the most beautiful view of Funen and the experience is free. A family of Viking kings from Funen lived on Munkebo Hill. Archaeological excavations have revealed a settlement here, a power center from the late Iron Age and Viking Age (ca. 550-950 AD) at the top of the hill. Several Viking Age houses, pit houses, and a mighty "King's Hall" surrounded by a strong wooden wall have been found. From here, the King of Ladby could control the surrounding landscape, overlooking Odense Fjord, Kertinge Nor, and the Great Belt. At the top of the observation tower, you are 58 meters above sea level, and you have fantastic views in all directions. The Viking Age and the region's history are told through posters at the information center or can be experienced through play. The information center has a restroom with wheelchair access. There's no gravel path here, but a narrow paved road along the beach. You definitely can't ride a bike on the pebble beach!

Kerteminde's harbor and marina are a jewel on Funen, boasting good restroom facilities and a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The harbor promenade is furnished with tables and benches, as well as cozy barbecue areas, where sailors enjoy the balmy summer evenings, while children romp around in the playgrounds. In summer, events are held in the marina. Munkebo Bakke has one of the most beautiful views on Funen. The hill is 58.4 meters high and at the top the observation tower is a symbol of the historical importance of the hill. In the Viking Age, the hill was of great strategic importance as a guard post. The tower on Loddenhøjen was built in 1993 to replace the old lookout tower from the 1890s.
