박물관은 더 이상 무료가 아닙니다 (어린이만 해당). 성인 1인당 120 DKK를 지불했는데, 그만한 가치가 있었습니다. 친절한 직원, 많은 디테일과 정교하게 디자인된 멋진 애니메이션 바이킹 전시. 옥상 테라스에서 장소(무덤 언덕과 옛 바이킹 요새)를 다시 감상할 수 있습니다! 정말 훌륭합니다!

Jelling Skov, a forest area with a rich and mysterious history, closely linked to Danish royal history.

Here you explore the Jellinge Skov route on quiet, winding gravel paths and enjoy fantastic views of the Grejs Å and Fårup Lake along the way. A highlight is the historic Hopballe Mølle, which today serves as a farm shop selling local delicacies. A large part of the route runs along the Grejs Å and offers you pure nature and quiet moments. Dogs are allowed as long as they are on a leash.

In the 10th century, King Harald Bluetooth had Denmark's baptismal charter engraved on a runestone in Jelling and built two large burial mounds. The Jelling monuments have been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1994.

The Jelling Runestones erected in the 10th century are very important to the Danes. They represent the founding act of the nation. One of the two stones relates the conquest of Denmark and Norway as well as the conversion of the Danes to Christianity.
