It’s a really nice place to get to and have a café ride. It’s nice to just ride around the reservoir. 

Draycote Water is an artificial reservoir (23 million m3), which was completed in 1969. In addition to its function as a water reserve, it is a leisure park u.a. for anglers, sailors, hikers. The rich bird life invites also to observations. Swimming is not allowed in the lake.

Excellent 8km cycling with great views and rest areas.

You get on here at bottom of the hill going towards Draycote.

Cuts off the main road into Brinklow, it's only 200m long

Radford, lock 23, is the first of twenty locks that lift the canal 146’ to join the Oxford Canal at Napton. Back pumps were installed here in 1942 to return water from the bottom level.

Looking over the fields on a crisp sunny day is just amazing, it's worth stopping and looking to make sure you don't miss the views...

Often along this stretch going up Offchurch Greenway or going further on along the canal

Fosse Bottom Lock is lock No. 22 on the Grand Union Canal's Northern Main Line. Lock numbering starts at No. 1 in Napton at the southern end and finish with No. 64 at Nechells at the northern end.

Stopped for the views and there were free courgettes at the side of the road, how refreshingly nice

So quiet along this stretch not as busy as Hatton area...

The pond is well kept with so much space with grass in this lovely village, lots of routes from here with so many cyclist.
