The ascent to the Frauenwand is worthwhile because of the view, and there are also other options for hiking tours/summit ascents from here.

The Tuxerjoch Hut is on the ridge, about 250 meters above the summer mountain railway. This can be easily reached either via the Weitental or the summer mountain railway on paths or a steep gravel road. There is a large covered and heated terrace and fresh drinks and food. A popular place to go even in winter.

Grade 2 climbing is required to reach the summit. Very dangerous in wet conditions and otherwise more suitable for those with a head for heights. But a wonderful mountain with a view and also the highest in the Tux Alps.
