During the Ötztal Cycle Marathon, the roads are closed to public traffic. This made it a very pleasant ride, and we were able to enjoy the beautiful panoramic views.

A beautiful, nearly 17-kilometer climb from Mayrhofen to Hintertux. The first few kilometers are especially tough to persevere in! This is not only the steepest section, but also the part where you'll be sharing with a few cars. From Tux onward, things get better!

The climb to the Passo Giovo (Jaufenpass) starting from Casateia is about 15 kilometers long and overcomes an altitude difference of 1,130 meters with a constant average gradient of around 7.3%. It is a challenging climb that, after the stretches in the woods, offers Alpine views up to the pass that connects the Val Passiria with Vipiteno.
