거의 끊김 없이 서로 이어지는 두 개의 호수: 미터 호수(Mittersee)와 오버 호수(Obersee)는 파울렌바흐 계곡(Faulenbacher Tal)에 목가적으로 자리 잡고 있으며 퓌센(Füssen) 근처의 자연적인 휴양지처럼 보입니다. 두 호수 모두 일광욕 잔디밭, 다이빙 시설, 맑은 물로의 접근이 가능한 자연 야외 수영장을 갖추고 있어 더운 날 상쾌한 휴식을 취하기에 완벽합니다. 숲과 초원으로 둘러싸인 이곳에서 조용한 호숫가 산책로를 찾을 수 있습니다.

Super well-paved road with switchbacks, great for cycling and on the bends you often have good views of the mountains and Neuschwanstein Castle.

At the Vilser Jöchle, the trails towards Sebenalpe, Brentenjoch, and Vilseralm diverge at 1,750 meters. There's also a magnificent view from up here.

Great place for a snowshoe hike 🥰. Really a beautiful view and a quiet place in winter too. 😉

A somewhat quieter area on the outskirts of Füssen, leading through a beautiful valley to the Alatsee ⭐️

"This border relic from earlier times is probably no longer valid today" 😉. It is an official sign and must therefore be observed 😉. I always find it interesting when you are confronted with a green border and it reminds you that the next step will take you into a different country. Usually you don't even notice it consciously. For me, this is a very beautiful route along the Vils from Pfronten-Steinach to Vils (or vice versa). In addition to several bike tours along this route, I was also able to complete this year's Wings for Life World Run here. Simply great. Shortly before the border crossing, which you cross through a mini labyrinth, there is a small chapel on the side of the road on the German side. Furthermore, if you look up, you can see the Falkenstein ruins and the Breitenberg on the opposite side of the valley. Sometimes you can also see numerous paragliders ("Flieger, greet the sun", "Above the clouds...")😎.
