The Lindner tractor factory, based in Kundl, is an Austrian family business with a long tradition and a strong innovative spirit. It was founded in 1946 by Hermann Lindner, who produced the first tractor in 1948 and set a milestone in 1953 with the "Bauernfreund" – Austria's first all-wheel-drive tractor. Today, Lindner employs around 250 people and produces approximately 1,200 vehicles annually, including the well-known Geotrac, Unitrac, and Lintrac series. The company specializes in tractors and transporters for alpine agriculture, forestry, and municipal applications. Sustainability is also central to Lindner: The company's own innovation center, opened in 2014, is an energy-efficient passive house with photovoltaic systems and LED technology. Today, Lindner stands for quality, alpine specialization, technical innovation, and regional roots – a model Austrian company with a clear future strategy.

Worth seeing the smallest town in Tyrol

One of Rattenberg's special sights is the parish church of St. Virgil and St. Catherine. This Gothic building has two naves. Once, it was a separate church for citizens and miners. Important artists redesigned the building in the Baroque style. A chapel commemorates Saint Notburga, who was born in Rattenberg. Noteworthy: an elevator leads from the Painter's Corner to the church portal. 😉
