The Blue Spring is the oldest natural monument in Tyrol. The spring feeds a small lake, crystal clear and glowing with a deep blue colour. The karst spring with a pond and trees was declared a natural monument as early as 1926, making it the first natural attraction in Tyrol to be recognized as such. It is interesting that the water temperature of the spring is almost constant at 8.1°C.
