Chesteron Windmill was built in 1632 and is one of the oldest surviving windmills in England. It was originally used for grinding corn and has a rich history ties to the agricultural practices of the region.

Moreton Paddox was the name of a country manor house which stood in this area until 1959 when it was demolished. It was a grand house with formal gardens and an ornamental lake, although little evidence remains.

Edgehill is a great little climb. Steady, never too steep (max about 11%), good road and few cars.

Poor road surface but nice surroundings and the road is quiet.

Nice spot overlooking the Ilmington village green. Good place to refuel before tackling the climbs out of Ilmington towards Chipping Campden.

Something different in the Cotswolds. Easy to miss, if you don't look right (South) while on that stretch of road.

Warwick Castle is a medieval castle developed from a wooden fort, originally built by William the Conqueror during 1068. Warwick is the county town of Warwickshire, England, situated on a meander of the River Avon. The original wooden motte-and-bailey castle was rebuilt in stone during the 12th century. During the Hundred Years War, the facade opposite the town was refortified, resulting in one of the most recognisable examples of 14th-century military architecture. It was used as a stronghold until the early 17th century, when it was granted to Sir Fulke Greville by James I in 1604. Greville converted it to a country house, and it was owned by the Greville family (who became Earls of Warwick in 1759) until 1978, when it was bought by the Tussauds Group. In 2007, the Tussauds Group was purchased by the Blackstone Group, which merged it with Merlin Entertainments. Warwick Castle was then sold to Nick Leslau's investment firm, Prestbury Group, under a sale and leaseback agreement. Merlin continues to operate the site under a renewable 35-year lease. Great views of the castle from the aptly named Castle Bridge. The bridge is a grade 2 listed road bridge built between 1790 and 1793 and made of sandstone. It replaced the much older multi arch bridge, the ruins of which are visible between the new bridge and the castle. There has been a castle in Warwick since 1068. It was rebuilt in stone in the 12th century and then improved in the 14th century.
