Beautiful and well preserved half-timbered building, you will not find many in similar style and quality around. Even if you do not enter the museum it is worth a detour to have a view.

A small restored 16th century half timbered house on Henley Street where it is believed that William Shakespeare was born in 1564. There is a small museum is open daily from 10:00 - 17:00.

Stratford Lock Junction Footbridge is a minor waterways place on the Stratford-on-Avon Canal (Southern Section) between Winding Hole above Stratford Top Lock No 52 (4½ furlongs and 5 locks to the northwest) and Junction of Stratford Canal and River Avon (¼ furlongs to the south). The nearest place in the direction of Winding Hole above Stratford Top Lock No 52 is Stratford-upon-Avon Lock No 56 (Wide lock between the River Avon and Bancroft Basin); a few yards away. There is access (suitable for wheels) to the towpath here. Mooring here is impossible (it may be physically impossible, forbidden, or allowed only for specific short-term purposes). There is a bridge here which takes pedestrian traffic over the canal.

Bancroft Basin is a place on the waterways on the Stratford-on-Avon Canal (Southern Section) between Winding Hole above Stratford Top Lock No 52 (4¼ furlongs and 4 locks to the northwest) and Junction of Stratford Canal and River Avon (½ furlongs and 1 lock to the southeast). The nearest place in the direction of Winding Hole above Stratford Top Lock No 52 is Bridge Foot Bridge No 69 (Entrance to Bancroft Basin is a 32yd long "tunnel".); ½ furlongs away. The nearest place in the direction of Junction of Stratford Canal and River Avon is Stratford-upon-Avon Lock No 56 (Wide lock between the River Avon and Bancroft Basin); ¼ furlongs away. There is access (suitable for wheels) to the towpath here. Mooring here is good (a nice place to moor) , mooring rings or bollards are available. Mooring is limited to 48 hours. Visitor mooring pontoons but can be very busy. Mooring is also available on the river.

Kingswood Junction is a major waterways place at the junction of the Stratford-on-Avon Canal (Kingswood Branch) with the Grand Union Canal (Warwick and Birmingham Canal: widened section - Main Line). Lapworth Link Junction is on the Stratford-on-Avon Canal (Kingswood Branch), 1¼ furlongs to the northwest. Budbrooke Junction (Junction of Saltisford Arm and Grand Union Main Line) is on the Grand Union Canal (Warwick and Birmingham Canal: widened section - Main Line), 7 miles and 2¼ furlongs and 21 locks to the east. Camp Hill Top Lock Winding Hole is on the Grand Union Canal (Warwick and Birmingham Canal), 14 miles and ¾ furlongs and 5 locks to the northwest. The nearest place in the direction of Lapworth Link Junction is Bridge No 37; a few yards away. The nearest place in the direction of Budbrooke Junction is Weston Hall Bridge No 64; 2½ furlongs away. The nearest place in the direction of Camp Hill Top Lock Winding Hole is Kingswood Bridge No 65; 1½ furlongs away.

The Kingswood Arm is an extremely short section of the Stratford Canal, linking it with the Warwick & Birmingham Canal (now the Grand Union Canal). Length 0.25 mile The branch includes one lock (numbered 20), but a few years ago a direct connection was reopened to the short pound between locks 21 and 22 of the southern Stratford.

Aqueduct. 1813 with later additions and restorations of 1960. By William Whitmore for the Stratford Canal Company. Cast-iron trough with integral towpath with cast-iron railings to north, brick piers and retaining walls in English bond with ashlar copings. Railings have stick balusters and moulded handrail and brackets. All carried on 3 piers, those 2 to east are splayed, that to west restored. South side of aqueduct has an attached oval plate with inscription: `This Aqueduct was erected by The Stratford Canal company in October 1813, Bernard Dewes Esqr Chairman, W James Esqr Dept Chairman, W Whitmore Engineer.' Crosses Stratford Road, A34. The Southern Stratford Canal was constructed between 1793-1816 at a cost of £500,000. 13.5 miles of the canal from Kingswood Junction, Lapworth to Stratford-upon-Avon was leased by the National Trust in 1960 from the British Waterways Board for restoration. The National Trust acquired the freehold c1964. Wootton Wawen Aqueduct is a Scheduled Ancient Monument, County number 132.

Baddesley Clinton is a moated manor house and country estate set within Forest of Arden. The house was built by Henry Ferrers, a lawyer, diarist and antiquarian, in the late 1500s.
