The inn "Dax Lueg" is a nice stopover with panoramic views over the city of Salzburg and the surrounding Alps. If you take a break here, be sure to enjoy the traditional Austrian cuisine and the cozy atmosphere of the terrace.

Crisp increase with an average of 11% - but the view is worth it. Especially nice: Coming from Eugendorf and exiting on the other side in the direction of Unterkoppl with a view of the Gaisberg.

The Alterbach meanders along the south side of the Heuberg. This beautifully wooded path follows the stream to Gnigl. Along the way you have to cross stream tributaries from time to time, while you can enjoy the rush of the water and the shady trees that gently move in the wind.

Due to the wooded trails around the summit of the Heuberg and their views of the Nockstein, Gaisberg and Kühberg, it is mandatory to visit the summit yourself. Even if it is not very high, it even has a nice little summit cross.

It's a nice segment on tarmac with some stunning views of Salzburg and its mountains with huge areas of green meadows. Watch our for fast cyclists though, when you're running here.

Here you can walk over hill and dale, through a fairytale forest. This section is a minimally technical single trail that is mostly flat. Shortly after sunrise, when the paths are still wet from the morning dew, you are sometimes lucky and see a fire salamander or scare away a chamois.
