Various routes lead up, including the Springlessteig and the Wagnersteig. Whether for a well-deserved rest, a good meal on the sunny terrace or just to unwind - you should take your time up here to enjoy the view to the fullest.

The Wilhelm Eichert hut will open again at the beginning of May. Michelle Brandstätter and Sebastian Mika are new tenants. The Wilhelm-Eichert-Hütte is not only one of the oldest huts, but at 1052 meters above sea level it is also the highest serviced mountain hut on the Hohe Wand. At the beginning of March, the operators at the time, the Teubl family, closed the hut for personal reasons. Since then, the responsible ÖTK section in Wiener Neustadt has been urgently looking for new tenants. According to chairman Josef Zwickl, there was a "sizable number of applicants who wanted to take over the hut". Now there is a fixed solution. "We decided on a young team that wants to lead the hut with new ideas and a lot of commitment in the coming years," says Zwickl, pleased about the commitment of Michelle Brandstätter and Sebastian Mika, who are taking over the fortunes of the hut.
