The viewing platform on Kahlenberg is one of Vienna's most famous viewpoints, offering a sweeping panoramic view of the city. The Cossack Memorial commemorates the contribution of Ukrainian Cossacks to the liberation of Vienna from the Ottoman siege in 1683. It is located at Nasenweg in the 19th district and was ceremoniously unveiled on April 23, 2013.
