Pulteney Bridge is a bridge over the River Avon in Bath, England. It was completed by 1774, and connected the city with the land of the Pulteney family which it wished to develop. Designed by Robert Adam in a Palladian style, it is highly unusual in that it has shops built across its full span on both sides.

Very nice and photogenic bridge, reminds me of the bridges in Florence and Erfurt. Must See!

Brilliant bridge with small shops on it, similar to the Ponte Vecchio in Florence. Only here in Bath are cars allowed to drive over it.

A classic example of Georgian architecture, Great Pulteney Street is a rather grand thoroughfare to the east of the River Avon. The widest street in Bath, it contains many Grade I-listed buildings. It's always fun to run along, with the striking façades flashing by.
