A very impressive campus, you can enjoy it and relax and also learn about the College there. Unfortunately the Chapel wasn't accessible during our visit.

Sister cafe to the original at Clare. This one has plenty of outdoor space and cleat-friendly access. Open til 3pm every day.

Nice route into Cambridge Centre just watch out for pedestrians and cyclists as this area can get really busy during peak times and especially during school holidays.

Independent coffee shop situated in the Stapleford Granary arts centre. Indoor seating as well as a terrace at the back and a few outdoor tables at the front. Plenty of bike parking available too. Open 8.30am-4pm in the week (closed Wed), 9am-3pm Sat, 10am-3pm Sun.

Common in the Netherlands - roundabout giving priority to cyclists and pedestrians- 1st of its kind in the UK.

No lobby for the public or visitors but a nice logo to see from the outside

Busy road and cars often queueing for the main city centre car park, with a narrow cycle lane. Sometimes you can't avoid it but no reason to seek this out.

I go often to the south of Cambridge and I take this very safe road at all times.

Short yet sweet little cycle path, just remember to slow down on each end, and don't forget to say hello to the horses that often roam the field running adjacent to the path.

Undoubtedly the most central and most impressive college in the city. The chapel building is simply impressive. Recently the grass in front has been transformed into a flowery meadow making the view even nicer. Can be visited at certain times.

It's Queens' College, not Queen's College. Queen's College is in the other place.

Queens' College was founded in 1448 by Margaret of Anjou and refounded in 1465 by the rival queen Elizabeth Woodville. This dual foundation is reflected in its orthography: Queens', not Queen's, although the full name is "The Queen's College of St Margaret and St Bernard, commonly called Queens' College, in the University of Cambridge".[6][7] In 1446 Andrew Dokett obtained a charter from Henry VI to found St Bernard's College, on a site now part of St Catharine's College. A year later the charter was revoked and Dokett obtained a new charter from the king to found St Bernard's College on the present site of Old Court and Cloister Court. In 1448 Queen Margaret received from her husband, King Henry VI, the lands of St Bernard's College to build a new college to be called "Queen's College of St Margaret and St Bernard". Fast connection to the city, pretty straight and surprisingly ok asphalt.

Despite the global reputation the buildings here are rather boring. For a historic perspective better visit the old site in Cambridge opposite of King's.

Guided buslane and bike path to cross the railway - currently the bus part is closed due to construction and some smaller detours need to be expected on the Cambridge side.

One of the largest hubs for biomedical research in Europe with a number of leading institutes and companies on site. Still expanding with quite some construction work running (AstraZeneca is still not finished :-))
