Radio interferometry started in the mid-1940s on the outskirts of Cambridge, but with funding from the Science Research Council and a corporate donation of £100,000 from Mullard Limited, a leading commercial manufacturer of thermionic valves. The path itself is not too special, but the views are great.

Great place for a break with a good assortment of sandwiches and cakes as well as farm produce. Plenty of seating outside if the weather is good.

A very impressive campus, you can enjoy it and relax and also learn about the College there. Unfortunately the Chapel wasn't accessible during our visit.
