A beautiful stretch of beach in Krautsand is highly recommended; a great cycling and hiking trail leads along here amidst beautiful nature.

A beautiful hiking and cycling trail leads to the drawbridge. A covered seating area is available. The entire area is surrounded by stunning natural scenery. A visit is highly recommended and quite interesting.

A fantastic cycling and hiking trail runs along here, amidst beautiful scenery. We hiked along this route in February, surrounded by stunning nature, and it was wonderful. Highly recommended.

A very nice campsite is located here on Krautsand. Just over the dike and you're already at the Elbe River and the beautiful Krautsand beach. There's also a dog beach and a lifeguard on duty during the summer months. A small children's playground and a bistro are available. A large parking area, toilet facilities, and an open-air shower are also provided.
