Great climb. Almost nothing going on, asphalt, at least for uphill, is OK and there are switchbacks like on the small Alpine pass. The view at the top is also great.

In terms of altitude, it is one of the longest climbs in the Eifel.

When the cycle path is completely restored, you should plan a nice day trip along the Ahr. I think the hard-hit residents of the Ahr deserve it!
