There were no boards to be seen here, and the stepping stones were so deep under water that my only option was to wade through barefoot. What a fantastic experience! You cross the stream four times on this section, and I walked barefoot between them. Highly recommended! But I was glad I had my hiking poles with me for stability.

A small via ferrata leads over the steep limestone cliffs and narrow vineyard terraces of the Wehrer Rosenberg. You quickly gain altitude and can enjoy views of the Moselle Valley and neighboring Luxembourg. The highlight is a viewing pavilion at the highest point, which invites you to rest and have a picnic. The Wehrer Rosenberg has been a biodiversity beacon since 2020.
