Nestled in the countryside, the Heimathütte am Gerichts (local home hut) was built with great idealism and dedication by the Züsch Local History Association. Therefore, respect the forest, fields, and meadows, and enjoy the air and sunlight." 💡 Tip: The facility offers seating and barbecue areas, perfect for a short break during your hike.

The Nonnweiler Dam is the largest drinking water reservoir in Saarland and supplies the entire region with fresh water. The reservoir was created in the 1970s and is idyllically nestled in the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park. The information board provides fascinating details about water management, construction methods, and the dam's dimensions.
