Delamere Forest is a large wood in the village of Delamere in Cheshire, England.

Love riding through this Village can get a little busy by the church. But it's very picture postcard.

The Crown is a lovely pub in Swan Green and used as a rest stop on the charity bike race Manchester 100. They have great food and drink great atmosphere.

Beeston Castle is a former Royal castle in Beeston, Cheshire, England, perched on a rocky sandstone crag 350 feet above the Cheshire Plain. It was built in the 1220s by Ranulf de Blondeville, 6th Earl of Chester, on his return from the Crusades.

Peckforton Castle is a Victorian country house built in the style of a medieval castle. It stands in woodland at the north end of Peckforton Hills one mile (2 km) northwest of the village of Peckforton, Cheshire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building. The house was built in the middle of the 19th century as a family home for John Tollemache, a wealthy Cheshire landowner, estate manager, and member of parliament. It was designed by Anthony Salvin in the Gothic style. During the Second World War it was used as a hostel for physically disabled children.

A great area to ride in with plenty of quiet lanes - the telescope really towers over which makes for a great backdrop

Nice little community run cafe on the Whitegate Way. Plenty of outside seating including some under cover.

There's a new tap room at the brewery...with plenty of beer and spirits available! You can get coffee or a soft drink, but there's not a huge selection...and the only food available is crisps. However, if you're passing this way on your route then it's a nice place to stop ,particularly if its sunny, as there are bench tables outside.

Free to get into with a bike, just be sure to time your ride right as this gate (and all other Tatton Park gates) close at 7pm in summer and 4pm in winter.

A beautiful old village to ride through. Roads haven't been widened, traffic is light and it's really kept its charm. There's a slight hill in if you're coming from the west, but it's worth the effort!

Gorgeous route on perfect tarmac. The view of the castle gives good perspective on how far you've gone/still have left to go.
