Great hike up to Shutlingsloe from the Scout Hut Car Park.

It's a great walk up to Shutlingsloe, some great views to be had.

One of the most noted of the Peak District’s tops. Nestled around Errwood Reservoir it make’s for a nice scenic outing but not the best of weather day’s for it today. As Breeze said, the highest point in Cheshire and a UK designated Marilyn.

Great and easy hike up to Shining Tor from the Cat & Fiddle Car Park. Good footpath over the peaty ground, quite cool to walk on.

Fantastic panoramic views with contrast between views of Kinder Downfall on one side and the city centre skyline urban sprawl of Manchester on the opposite side.

It's worth the walk up just to tale in the air and the view

Great view. Paving a bit harsh on the feet after a distance

Eccles Pike is an isolated hill three miles to the west of Chapel en le Frith. It consists of gritstone, pink in colour at the summit. While not as prominent as the surrounding hills of Cracken Edge and Combs Moss it is popular with walkers. At 370 metres above sea level, it offers good views of Manchester to the west and the Kinder Scout plateau to the east. Combs reservoir lies just to the south of the hill.

Take a brew, enjoy the view!

It's a little exposed here so have a coat at the ready as the wind even on a warm day can cut through you.

Beautiful location with great Panoramic photo shots available. There is a nice bench seat to sit down on and some big rocks there to take off the edge of any winds. An easy enough hike from Whaley Bridge or Chinley.

The path we wanted is currently closed due to erosion so we had to lose some height gain and take a different route to the summit (May 2021)

There were crowds of people today on a weekday !

It’s worth it trust me. Get up there!

The climb from Wildboarclough is quite challenging but worth the effort.
