Elisabethwarte (Plattenberg, 750 m) – a historic observation tower (18.5 m) with 360° panoramic views of the Most, Mühl, and Traunviertel districts. Accessible via 82 steps, it features a tower bust of the Empress and the "Rock the Sissi" climbing wall.

Anyone hiking through Weistrach should plan a short detour to the parish church of St. Stephen. This late-Gothic hall church impresses with its ornate ribbed vault and neo-Gothic spire – a true gem both inside and out. A tranquil place to pause and reflect – and a small architectural highlight on the way through the Mostviertel region.

Great tour, very selective.....

On the climb to Pattenberberb from Weistrach via Schwaig, this rest stop is a welcome opportunity to take a break and enjoy the view. The second stamp box on the original trail is also located here.

The path from the Elisabethwarte is a very nice, easy gravel/forest path, which is even signposted as a "children's MTB path". At the Mostbrunnen you can buy drinks and enjoy a beautiful view over the town of Kürnberg.

From the lookout point there is a wonderful view towards the south. The view to the north can already be seen on the way up from Goldberg.

It's quite a steep climb, but once you reach the top of the cross you'll be rewarded with a truly beautiful view!

You can also combine the Elisabethwarte with the Stockerkogel in a beautiful circular hike. This is a special highlight during Obstlüte.
