Anyone hiking through Weistrach should plan a short detour to the parish church of St. Stephen. This late-Gothic hall church impresses with its ornate ribbed vault and neo-Gothic spire – a true gem both inside and out. A tranquil place to pause and reflect – and a small architectural highlight on the way through the Mostviertel region.

From the lookout point there is a wonderful view towards the south. The view to the north can already be seen on the way up from Goldberg.

The highlight describes the innkeeper in Krottendorf - my photos from May 14th, 2024 show the beautiful garden, the very good food (small, down-to-earth menu) and the proud "house rooster" who waits for treats like a pub dog 😋 Opposite is the large farm - Hansbauer, a beautiful farm / cider farm.
